NEWS

December, 2010

I've been posting recordings on SoundCloud, a much more streamlined version of Myspace (or at least what Myspace used to be!).

November 16th, 2010

Jason Bernagozzi (Video/Sound Artist) invited me to present at his Experimental Radio Production class at Syracuse University on November 16th. Here I got to do an overview of my work and share some video/sound-making tips with a wonderful and intelligent group of emerging artists. Check out this site he made for the class, which has really great links to other artists, texts, student assignments and assorted writings.

Friday, November 5th

I will be performing with Gut Flora at the Day of the Dead Art Exhibit at EL BUEN AMIGO (114 Elmwood Ave) The show will feature traditional Day of the Dead Alters created by artists from Canisius College, El Museo Galleries, and Diane Ortiz. Open Reception is from 7-9pm, includes coffin art with food for the dead!

In October

I had the opportunity to create new sound works with collaborator, Patrick Cain (Gut Flora), at the Institute for Electronic Arts at Alfred University, NY. We made 5 new tracks using piano guts, voice, saxophone, a doepfer synthesizer/vocoder, lots of bells and assorted items. We also got to do a free live performance in the sound studio for the students, which was a really fun experience. You can here the newly recorded stuff (which has yet to be named!) here:
